The conference will feature over 100 Presentations, 60 Exhibits, and a multitude of Performances, Poster Sessions and Networking Opportunities celebrating this region’s nature and how people enjoy and protect it.
With our larger venue, Wild Things may host up to 3,000 attendees this year.
The 2019 Keynote speaker will be Gary Nabhan, noted ecologist and author of many books including Enduring Seeds (1989), The Forgotten Pollinators(1996), and Food from the Radical Center (2018). Mr. Nabhan’s talk is entitled: Restoring Nature, Food and Justice.
Once you purchase tickets on the Eventbrite website you will be given your own page on Sched, an app where you can build a personal schedule and find conference details such as session schedules and descriptions, speaker bios, and lots more. You can even use the Sched app on your phone to plan your schedule on conference day.
As in previous years, all sessions are first-come, first-served, but we do ask that you select sessions and create a schedule on Sched. This provides important information that will allow us to assign the largest rooms to the most-requested sessions.
